MEET THE SHOW HOST

The host of Today's Woman on Copusaradio is First Lady Gifty Alegsi-Ampofo. She is a product of the Ghana Institute of Journalism ( GIJ) and was formerly a journalist with Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GTV- Newsroom) Accra-Ghana. She has served on the National Literature Committee of The Church of Pentecost (COP-USA) and worked as a COP-USA Pentecost Fire magazine editor for many years, approximately a decade. Mrs. Ampofo is also a New York State Registered Nurse (RN-BSN).

She is married to her primal sweetheart, Pastor Godwin H. Ampofo, and is still as passionately in love with him as ever. Rev. Ampofo is the New York PIWC District Pastor and is currently an executive member of the COP-USA National Youth & Pensa Directorate.
The couple is blessed with two delightful children; James Osei Ampofo II and Margaret Miracle Ampofo. Mrs. Gifty Ampofo is very passionate about women's empowerment issues! She loves working with women of all ages, enjoys reading, traveling and thrives on fostering peaceful and enjoyable human relationships!
